Benefits of neurodiversity awareness in the workplace
ADHD Awareness in the Workplace
Empowering Neurodiverse Talent for a More Innovative Future
Every mind works differently. At Chester ADHD Therapy centre we believe that understanding neurodiversity — especially ADHD — is key to building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
Understanding ADHD
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is not a lack of attention — it’s a difference in how the brain manages focus, time, and energy. Around 5% of adults live with ADHD, including many professionals who bring creativity, passion, and problem-solving power to their work.
Myths vs. Facts
| Myth | Fact |
| “ADHD only affects children.” | ADHD often continues into adulthood and impacts professional life. |
| “People with ADHD can’t focus.” | Many experience hyperfocus — intense, productive concentration on tasks that engage them. |
| “ADHD means being disorganized.” | With the right tools and support, people with ADHD excel in strategic thinking and innovation |
